SMC Distribution (Ladson, SC)

 More and more distribution companies are understanding the benefits of incentives in the distribution facilty. In one of our more recent projects, we were asked by the management of SMC Distribution to establish an accurate system of standards to measure the work of their employees. Their primary goal was to determine correct staffing levels, but we were able to demonstrate many additional positive results. Areas such as morale, quality, output and attendance all were impacted positively.
In only 4 months, the company had recognized over $150,000 in annual savings in reduced payroll, higher levels of output, as well as other savings in materials and equipment. These savings were attained with a small investment (ROI in less than 6 months), while these savings will be experienced for years to come.
